I always knew I wanted to be my own boss. I just didn’t know where that path would lead. With a Business degree focused on entrepreneurship, I imagined building something meaningful, something that blended passion with purpose. After years in administrative and finance roles, I realized I was craving more: creativity, movement, and a space where women could feel powerful in their bodies.

I was a regular gym‑goer, but I found myself stuck in routine and searching for something to reignite my motivation. Then I tried a pole class in 2013, and everything changed. I fell in love with the artistry, the heels, the sensuality, and the confidence it unlocked. I had no idea that moment would shape the next decade of my life.

As I grew within the pole community, I started creating and sourcing items for my students. I wanted pieces that made them feel confident, sexy, and supported in their movement. In 2016, after becoming a certified pole instructor, my mom encouraged me to turn that passion into something bigger. She saw how much joy pole brought me and pushed me to build something of my own. That encouragement became the spark that launched Dress to Dance in 2016.

What began as a small collection of accessible, stylish, and affordable dancewear grew into a full line of heels, grip aids, knee pads, and more. In 2019, I introduced my own branded dancewear line designed with inclusivity, movement, and confidence at its core. Today, Dress to Dance ships across Canada, has expanded into the United States, and is preparing for future growth into Europe.

In 2021, during the pandemic, I created Vixen’s House of Dance. With studios closed and routines disrupted, I built an online platform offering floorwork, pole, and chair classes to keep women moving, motivated, and connected. What started as a virtual solution has become a thriving community. Whether I’m teaching online or in person, my mission remains the same: to help women feel sexy, confident, and empowered to try something new.

Running two businesses has taught me one thing: every woman deserves to feel powerful in her body and unstoppable in her journey. That belief is at the heart of everything I create.
